I figured the best way to find out if I am getting a good deal is by asking the people who know best - you guys.

I am making a buying decision tomorrow for a 98 1.9 Z3. I am hoping to get some feedback on whether this is an acceptable deal or whether there is safe ground for bargaining down:

BMW Z3 1.9, 1998
25K miles
Black Leather
Hard Top
BMW CD Changer
Pre-owned certified by BMW
Carfax checked - no repair history
Price: $25,900 incl. tax, title, registration

The sales person added the CD player for $400 (I know the MSRP is $595).

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as the car goes back on the floor Monday afternoon if I don't take it.

Thanks,
Kai

Don't really know if that is a good deal or not, but I do know that they are selling brand new 2001 3.0's for quite a bit less than invoice. Maybe 36k depending on options. I think your overall cost of ownership might not be much higher with the new 3.0 and your enjoyment might be larger. Just my thoughts.
