I've only had my '97 2.8 for a little over 2 days, but those have been 2 VERY fun days!! Paid substantially less than you quoted for the 1.9 and have a car in like-new condition under factory warantee 'til July, and can pick up an aftermarket warantee for another 5 years or another 70K miles and still be just under the 1.9's price. Got more looks today than I got in 5 years of driving a 928 S4 (not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing...nice to see the little kids smile at me, but had a number of Mustangs and Camaros pull around for a closer look).
