Folks,
how do I get the knobs off of the heater/airflow controls? I am trying to raise the chrome surrounds to install a dash kit not cut for them. Any experience with this? Thanks, Dane.

I had the chrome surrounds replaced under warranty due to defects in the chrome, but the beemer garage called me during the day to tell me that the chrome rings were glued onto the wood panel and that removing the rings caused the wood veneer to split. They relaced this too under warranty. Be careful removing the glued-in chrome rings!
