I just bought a 98 1.9 (still under warranty till June '02 and currently has 22k miles), and had a few questions.

1) do I still get the free maintance/roadside assistance even though I bought it used?

2) Should i still be able to get the cupholder instead of the tape holder for free in the 98 Z?

3) Where is the factory keyless entry/alarm mounted stock, and is it made by Alpine?

4) Was there ever a TSB for the rough idle problem?

I switched to Bosch Plat Plus 4 plugs in my 98 1.9L and it cleared up the rough idle problem, I had the tape holder also, had to buy the cup holder, easy to put on. Roadside Assistance comes with certified pre owned program, If you purchased from a BMW dealer then you should have a CPO plan with your car and the keyless entry is an option.
