They give both the retail and wholesale value. If you are going to give it at a "good deal" it doesn't really matter what the actual value is. Also, I think that they are more valuable right now because the new MRoadster has not come out yet. In a couple months, 6 to 8, when there are some new ones on the market, the car will begin to depreciate more.
I'd appreciate any opinions, and/or referrels to on-line sources...
I'm considering selling my '98 M Roadster, 37K miles, excellent condition, to my nephew. I'll give him a good deal, of course, but as a starting point, does anyone have opinions (preferably based on the actual sale or purchase of a similar car) as to the current fair market wholesale and retail value? It's sorta like trying to buy a thinly traded stock... you just don't see them advertised much, and it's tough to determine an appropriate price.
Any input appreciated.
