I'd appreciate any opinions, and/or referrels to on-line sources...

I'm considering selling my '98 M Roadster, 37K miles, excellent condition, to my nephew. I'll give him a good deal, of course, but as a starting point, does anyone have opinions (preferably based on the actual sale or purchase of a similar car) as to the current fair market wholesale and retail value? It's sorta like trying to buy a thinly traded stock... you just don't see them advertised much, and it's tough to determine an appropriate price.

Any input appreciated.

KBB is usually high. I sold a 98 M roadster with 23k miles on it last June for 32k. Vidterry says prices are in the upper 30s to lower 40s in teh midwest, but that's just not the case here in Texas. Guess it depends a lot on where you live. I heard of a dealer in California offering blue book MINUS 5k (that's around 25k) on a trade for an M roadster a month or so ago.
