You didn't say that your error was 2.5 mph at 60. You said, and I quote, "The speedometer on the Z's and M's reads high by about 2.5mph at 60." While I don't doubt that you are correct in reporting your speedo error rate, Vidterry's only point was that one cannot then assume that number to be true for every Z or M. In fact, imperically, the numbers refute such a conclusion. For example, my speedo is off about 5 mph at 60. Vidterry simply, and properly, cautioned people that they could not assume uniformity in speedo error rates. And by that caution he (and I) still stand.
