How accurate is the OBC speed sensor? (more) (archive)

Using a M/Z3 easter egg showed to me by MZ3Silver, I'm able to get speed in km/h displayed on the tripmeter LCD. I assume that this speed is used for the OBC's calculations.

My question is, how much more accurate that the "analog" speedometer is the OBC's speed sensor? I notice quite a difference - When the analog shows 80, the digital shows only 124 km/h (~77 mph).

TIA!
