We signed on the dotted line yesterday to buy a house on a new development. In fact, we're buying the show house of the first phase which has some advantages in terms of real pretty decor. The double garage of the show house is currently the sales office, so the walls are plastered and papered, the ceiling has recessed halogen downlighters, and the floor is wood block. My wife thinks we should get the developers to remove all this before we move in. What would you do?
