1. Park in a safe place, turn engine off, trans in neutral, handbrake pulled up. Key in “off” position.
2. Depress trip reset button.
3. With button depressed, turn key to position 1
4. You will see a “test 01” displayed on the odometer.
5. Quickly, press and release button until you see “test 14” displayed.
6. Now press button again to display “test 15”, but don’t release the button!
7. The message “L on” will appear on the Odometer. Keep depressed until display changes to “ L off”.
8. Release button and start engine.
9. Display will now read “test 01”, change this by pressing and releasing the button until “test 08” is displayed. The trip side of the display will now show the speed in km/h.
10. By the way, “test 07” will display the engine speed in rpm, down to every singe rev!
11. Keep eyes on the road. MZ3Silver warned me abput how his friends almost crashed due to the distraction!

Thanks to MZ3Silver for the Easter Egg. Just one of the nifty tricks one can learn IF ONE WAKES UP EARLY ON A SATURDAY MORNING FOR THE AUSTIN SATURDAY DRIVE!!

Thanks for sharing this, MZ3Silver.
