The engine (HP) makes-up about 98% of the difference between the two. If i were you, before I purchase either model, I would look at the 2001 models 2.5 and 3.0. You can get some really good prices on each. The 2001 2.5 has almost the sam HP as a used 2.8: 184 vs. 193 (you can't tell the difference)


i'm considering buying either a 2000 2.3 or 2.8. Aside from the hp, is there any real difference to the cars? For example, do the 2.3's handle better because they're lighter? Are there differences in the suspensions? Does the 2.8 offer that much more oomph? Thanks.
