A recent check of my Z3 yielded the following information on speed errors at an indicated 70 mph on the analog speedometer over a measured 10-mile distance:

Original 225/50 MXM tires with 2/3rds tread remaining:
Measured mph with GPS unit - 65.3
OBC indicated average mph - 65.5
OBC odometer miles - 9.85

New 225/55 MXM4 tires with 100% of tread remaining:
Measured mph with GPS unit - 68.5
OBC indicated average mph - 65.5
OBC odometer miles - 9.55

The new tires produce actual car speeds closer to what the analog speedometer reads, but the odometer reads less than before. As expected, the OBC average mph readings are the same for both tires as they're keyed to the analog speedometer information. Iíd rather have the actual car speed be closer to the analog speedometer as thatís whatís normally used to check it.
