I don't think your choice should be based on golf bags, however:

My wife and I get both sets of clubs AND two regular-size bags into the trunk of our 97 2.8 Z.

Take all your clubs out of the bag(s) and start by putting the driver, 3-wood in trunk first. The clubheads should be fitted into the well on the right side. Then the rest of the clubs should be layed on top. Then stuff the bags on top. Not a big deal.

Good luck,

I'm torn between an M Roadster and an M Coupe. One factor is whether I'll be able to get a golf bag into the trunk of a roadster. I have a golf bag that I can get into my '97 miata. Any experiences?
