Have fun y'all! VROOOOM VROOOM!
Just a reminder about our cruise this Saturday. Tom tells me that 29 cars have signed up so far. The cruise will leave from the Longwood Gardens parking lot (US1 and SR52) at 10 am sharp on Saturday, March 3rd, [for information about or directions to Longwood Gardens, call 1-800-737-5500]. From Longwood, we’ll head northwest across two covered bridges through Paradise with planned stops for lunch at The Kling House Restaurant (717)-768-7400) in Intercourse and dessert at an Amish Bake Shop in Bird-in-Hand. After the bakeshop, we’re planning a continuation of the ride in and around Strasburg where we’ll pass the farmhouse and barn filmed in the movie, Witness (unfortunately not visible from the road), and two more covered bridges. We’ll end up at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, a sort of National Air & Space Museum of the railroad era. Other nearby attractions are the Toy Train Museum, a Classic Motorcars Exhibit, for history buffs the Hans Herr House and Landis Valley Museum and for shoppers dozens of outlet stores in Lancaster (including Waterford, Brooks Brothers, Polo, Movado).
Some unsolicited comments from our first winter wonderland cruise three years ago:

The scenery is sensational. Anyone within reasonable driving distance (that's four hours or less) and able to commandeer a Z3 come on out and join us. To sign up, E-Mail Tom at [email protected].
