Octane booster might help. Not a very good answer, huh? If you have modified software on the car, one of the tricks is to advance timing. Running 92 octane gas (our premium mix on the West Coast) can allow the engine to detonate under certain conditions. Here is a Sharked car on the dyno before and after using Turbo 108 octane booster, clearly the car was pinging before the booster was added:

I wasn't there for the dyno to watch all of the conditions. But this isn't a "marketing dyno" by the company making the product, it was a dyno a friend (Pablo Mazlumian, European Car writer) did of his '97 M3 (RIP). So I believe that it is legit.
