You can buy 110 octane unleaded racing fuel. It is about five dollars per gallon, but if you mix in a gallon or two per tank, it will pick up your octane a few points
Do not use "low lead" aircraft fuel. Although it has less lead than other aircraft fuels, it still has a lot of lead and will destroy your catalytic converter.
I have tried some of the octane boosters in the past and found that they leave weird deposits on the plugs -- I always wondered what other places. Some are very corrosive. Now I just stick with racing fuel. In the long run it is less expensive. PS --Make sure the fuel is fresh!
