Sounds like you have a long body. Is the problem with your head hitting the top? I'm 6'3" w/ 36" inseam. I have plenty of head room with the seat all the way down and back. I wish I had just a little more legroom or support under my thighs, but with the seat back up straight and the seat back all the way, I'm not going to do better for myself.

All I can suggest is to tilt the seat back somewhat - it will have to be moved forward to do this - and then move it back. You may have to try different degrees of tilt.
