Now, note that I just bought a second one from Ron. The first one was in a bag with $200 worth of spacers and bolts that I left at an autocross a month ago.

But, having changed my wheels hundreds of times (autocrossing), I have never needed nor wanted such an animal with the stock wheels. Even with a 5mm spacer up front, making the shelf that much narrower.

I only need one of these when I use my Fikse wheels, and use two of the 5mm spacers on each side. Then there is no shelf, and this tool becomes priceless.

Checked archives, no luck. I remember a post made quite a while ago about "wheel guides" that screw into the wheel lug bolt holes to assist in lining up the holes when mounting the wheel(s). I think I remember that somebody posted a part number (Mercedes, I think) for them. Are you out there? Anyone smart enuff to save that post/part number?? TIA . . .
