I agree completely. The first car I bought @ age 17 was a 61' Austin Healy (in 69'). If my parents hadn't lived on a hill I would have had to walk a lot more than I did. Midlife through my car buying career I bought a 80' MGB and had to push start it half the time too. I would not have spent $45,000 (TTL) for my 00'M had it not been for my perceived expectations of reliability from BMW. I've always coveted Porches and love the looks of the Boxster (the old 50's Speedster is my all time favorite car) but read too much about Boxster engines blowing up, so I decided on the M based on reliability issues. So far I'm not dissapointed. I can't say the same for my previous experiences w/ Lucas and English roadsters in general.
