I have installed this wind deflector on my 97 2.8. The instructions have you lift the rear part of the center console to gain access to the two screws which secure the rear console where the rear console and center console meet. An alternative, which will save you the cost of those wonderful little trim screw covers, is to carefully snap out the little storage cup at the rear of the center console (protect the face of the rear console with a credit card and use a screwdriver to pry up on the storage cup). With the storage cup removed, you will have clear access to the screws. CAUTION: You need a lot of patience and courage to install this wind deflector. Plan on 4 hrs.
