I recently took ownership of a new Z3 3.0 ($3K dealer
incentive was too good to pass up!). Car is everything
I thought it'd be, EXCEPT, for a very squeaky drivers
seat.

The squeak comes from the plastics of the upper left
rear of the seat (just behind left shoulder and about
where the seatbelt is) and the inner section of the body
just behind the door. On the passenger's side, I have
a good 1" clearance with the seat all the way back and
fully reclined. Squeaks are especially noticeable on
city street driving.

Anyone else ever have this problem? I'm going to bring
this up with the dealer when it's time for the first
scheduled service, but, a temp fix in the meantime
would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 1 month old 3.0 Z3, sports seats with classic black leather. I have not heard any squeaks.
