Is it the seat or is it coming from the seat belt housing.

it's definitely the plastic back of the seat
rubbing against the inside plastic of the car.
i have the seat fully reclined and back as far
as possible. the plastics are pushing against
each other. on the passenger side, there is
space between the back of the seat and the
sides of the car with the seat fully reclined
and pushed all the way back.

it may be that some of the plastic is flared
or bowed out causing them to press against
each other, though, it doesn't appear that
way. i'll try some lubricants and see if that

thanks for the replies.
