early Boxsters even when it was widely known there was a fair chance the motor would shoot craps. Now, I didn't say you shouldn't consider reliability at ALL (in my own case, it would have been a much tougher choice between a Boxster and a Z3 when I got mine if it hadn't been for the croaking P-cars, so I gotta admit UNreliability played a small part in my own decision).

My point was that you shouldn't base a sports car decision on which is the MOST reliable as long as the car you want is *reasonably* reliable, and I was merely trying to assure the original poster that both the Z3 and the S2000 should be plently reliable so he should buy whichever one he *likes* the most.
