I use my 2000 2.3 as a daily driver in Madison. Only about 2 hours from here to Chicago. You do get road salt, and some sand, but I bought this car because I love to enjoy it just as much as I love it generally. I can't enjoy it if it's on blocks in the garage. Will it last as long as a stored car? No. But I'm going to enjoy it while I can. Never know when life will throw you a curveball.
