You can go to your local BMW dealter and purcahse BMW synthetic oil for about $3.00 a quart. Also, a filter should cost you around $6.00. So for about $27.00 you can change it yourself.

Unless you go to John Roberts BMW in Austin, Texas. Then the oil is $5.40/qt (w/o the 10% CCA discount) and the filters are almost $9 each.

So for $50, you can change it yourself.

I have no idea what they'd charge to do it for you, but there'd likely be a 2-week wait, and you wouldn't be likely to get a loaner car.
