I bought 3.0 just few weeks ago but I too wouldn't have minded getting 2.5 as I think it has enough power. Reason why I bough 3.0 instead of 2.5 1) with $3000 factory to dealer incentive on 3.0 vs. $1500 on 2.5, the price difference dropped to what I though was a reasonable $$$ for 40 + HPs. 2) It was available for pick up that day vs. I had to wait few weeks for 2.5. 3) I know few roads that almost no cops drop by in my area. :-)
