...a dead or seriously injured one whose car was the envy of all. Safety should be a high consideration. Too many parents are more concerned with making their kids happy than with doing what is right for them. Recently, the local paper quoted the grandmother of a youngster who had been convicted of killing a younger child as saying "I don't understand. He had a happy childhood and was given everything he wanted." Well, duh! Maybe that was part of the problem.I was thinking Miata, which is a safe car, if seatbelts are worn and they don't roll it. Not sure that it would survive as well as a Z3 when rolled. On the other hand, I wouldn't buy my child a Suzuki Sidekick or the like, nor would I buy them a muscle car, although an arguement can be made that any car can kill given enough immaturity behind the wheel.
