Your best bet is to go to edmunds.com for invoice pricing. I bought a 2.5 in December of 2000 and paid the invoice amount. Depending on where you are located, you should be able to do the same. Considering BMW is a non-"holdback" vehicle, I think invoice is really pretty good.

i have never bought a car before without having the sales person show me the dealer invoice and then pay 250 or 500 over it. Has anyone been able to accomplish this with bmw?

what do you mean BMW is a non-"holdback" vehicle?
