Your best bet is to go to edmunds.com for invoice pricing. I bought a 2.5 in December of 2000 and paid the invoice amount.

Figure up the invoice price on the car, subtract any rebates in effect for your vehicle, add $1500 or so and you've got a good deal that 9 out of 10 dealerships won't come down to. Shop around to get it.
