When I was in high school, a TR-4A went past as I waited outside most mornings -- it had wire wheels, Lucas flamethrowers and I vowed to have a car like is someday.

About 10 years ago, a TR-6 with a "For Sale" sign rekindled the desire to own a sports car. I didn't get it, but I did end up with an Alfa, which was the predecessor to my Z3.
