Most octane boosters only boost octane by a fraction once mixed in with the gas in the tank. You're looking at less than a 1 point boost even with the best boosters (NOS Race formula @ $10/bottle). Even if they did boost octane a significant amount, unless your car needs it, it is just a waste.
