That said, your observation that some on this board are very childish and pointlessly slam other marques is a good one. I own a Z3 and love the car.

But there are other good cars out there that in some respects are better than the BMW and in some respects are not as good. I preferred the Z3, so that is what I bought. But it doesn't mean that the S2000, the SLK, or whatever is total crap. If anyone thinks that those are bad cars, then those people are close minded fanatics who are not worth our time.

Though, it is fun to bait 'em because they are such easy targets...my guess is that they react with a Pavlovian foaming at the mouth response at the mere mention of another marque because they feel themselves to be little, insignificant nothings with 1" dicks (in the case of the male foamers). And irrationally going off on other marques makes 'em feel better.
