Dynoed my MRoadster yesterday.... (archive)

I was at the Active Autowerkes Dyno day and open house and decided to get a baseline figure on my car. I ran the dyno on my 19's to see how much HP I put down driving every day. The numbers came out at 198.5 HP@5500 RPM and 211.9 Ft-Lbs TQ@4000 RPM at the wheels. I was really happy my HP was only .4 down from a stock M3 the dynoed and I was up 9.1 ft-lbs on the torque. They told me that there was approximately a 30% loos from the crank on thier dyno. So my crank HP is 257.4 and Tq is 275.47. They told me my number would have probably been 15 higher on both if I had the 17's on. I am happy though even with the big rims my stock car dynoed more than bmw claims.

Oh, I also got to take a ride in the black turbo Mcoupe, that is the fastest car I have ever been in. 2nd gear was up to 70 mph, 3rd went to 116mph, 4th was pushing 169 and fifth tops out at 198! The power in that car was sick, it was there at any time anf the car grips so good on the stock rims. Simply amazing!
