OK I was hoping some Ohio/Indiana folks would tell me there was something redeeming about this part...

No insult intended to my Ohio/Indy brethren and sistren, but it really sounds like it sucks.

Still, if we want to get to Teachum's and WB's drives starting in Chicago, we'll have to cross the Ohio/Indy barrier.

This is sounding more and more like a storyline from Star Trek.

The only thing that would make this long, boring, slow interstate journey any fun would be getting to play with some local Z3ing friends, meeting up with Lobo like he suggested. (He could visit with his windscreen- another story.)

Cindy Reller- are you there? We did the drive by pick up in 99, that was fun.

The idea is that DaveT, JonT and I would be driving this stretch on May 23 or 24 to get to Oak Park, Il.

We've tried everything else to shorten this leg, the only thing left is the magic that happens when you are driving with fellow z3ers (and other friendly cars, please :) )

Driving anywhere is fun with friends.
Pity is that it is a Wednesday or a Thursday, right before Memorial Day- while most folks are working.

If we can just get to Oak Park at a reasonable hour without being exhausted, we can get to Taleisin the next day on a day trip.

Suggestions appreciated, anyone who wants to ride along for any part of the drive is welcome!

Reasonably, how long does it take?

Looks like max speed limit on interstates in Ohio and Indiana is 65?
