I see blue smoke in my rear view mirror but only in the morning. However, after I have my car washed the rear bumper ends up with an oil coating in about 2 to 3 days. At the right angle you can watch the light play on it, and smudge it with your finger.

As far as the leak down test BMW says the consumption is normal so they refuse to do a leak down test.
