I just recently spent a total of 13 hours doing my 00 Audi S4 (and I'm not finished!).

My roadster is next. Thankfully, washing/waxing is therapy for me.

What is this compulsion about? I would hazard to guess that chronic waxers would make excellent employees - hard working, dedicated perfectionists. On the other hand we probably make lousy mates - intolerant, never happy and difficult - no?
