8 hours once a week is about right, unless it's... (archive)

...gonna rain with in 3 days, then "Z Machine" just gets a 4+ hour lick&promise. If rain prevents me from washing the car for more than a week, she has to be washed twice, then dried, then dusted, then waxed, then buffed, then dusted again, then... You get the picture. Being ANAL sure can be time consuming=8^)

Just finished washing and waxing my Z.
Good God Almighty.
I was mentally picturing two, three hours max. Then I opened my zymol kit. 17 bottles of various perfumes, ointments, conditioners, wax for this part wax for that part, top cleaner, wheel cleaner, blah de blah de blah.
Eight hours later...
Criminy.
She's beautiful, expensive to maintain, takes forever to clean up, makes me smile, and is going to leave me in three years. Hmmmm. This sounds vaguely familiar.
