Very Hot AA and Recyrculating Buttons on my M. (archive)

Have you ever noticed how hot these 2 buttons get when working for more than 10 minutes??
When I notice that, I switch it off as a preventive measure.
Is this just on my M Roadster?
Anyway to fix this?
