I was going into the office today, and noticed a white Volvo following me; I sped up, she speeds up, I changed lanes, she changes lanes. Images of some stories that I've seen on TV where people were getting shot for no reason on the freeway popped into my head, so I just floored it when traffic in front of me opened up. Finally, after I got off the freeway, I hear sirens, and some very vauge red and blue lights behind me, but all I see is this white Volvo. So I made a right turn, and the Volvo along with sirens and lights followed me. Then I pulled over, and the Volvo pulled over too. At this point I was thinking, this is some kind of joke, right? Then out came a female state trooper in full uniform. Long story short, she mentioned 3 infractions, but was nice enough to only cited me for speeding, $147. As I waited for her to write up the ticket, I looked in the rear view mirror to inspect the partol car, there's absolutely nothing that could tip me off that this is a partol car: plain unterstated white, no marking of any kind, ordinary license plate with 3 letters and 3 numbers (although the first letter starts with Q, which I have never seen before). Overall it just look like a housewife driving a typical family car, except there's a tiny little camera mounted on the roof of the car. I wonder what's next? A riced out Civic to entice other riceboys to race? In all fairness, the officer was courteous and polite, plus I had it coming for a long time.
