my 00 2.8 got mad at me today for the 1st time (archive)

for 13k miles..i would let the tank run way down and fill...run down and fill....yesterday for the 1st time ever, i put in only a few bucks..with a different cheapy brand...
and then filled again later with half tank on board.....
Gas gauge now stuck on full.....damn..I think I hurt it's feelings...i wonder if a simple apology will save me a trip to the dealer......
