However, it looks like any type of cone filter charger is detrimental to performance.

I think I'll stick with the foggbox!

I have a fogged air box and I am very satisfied with it. One question I do have however, I notice on the Dinan web page that their CAI needs the stage 2 CPU upgrade to give full performance. Before I went into the hospital I had the stage 1 upgrade downloaded to my car. I could really feel the difference, the car is much freer reving and smoother on acceleration. The dealer that did the upgrade asked me if I would be interested in the Dinan CAI and a free stage 2 upgrade, I told him about my fogged box and he made the comment that the stage 2 would make any CAI work to it's full potential and would add some more HP to the car. Your collective thoughts please.
