my mind, and I hope all of you fare well thru all this stuff. Ironically, just a few short hours north of you, we're damn near in drought conditions (again) west of Dallas and it just gets worse the farther west you travel from Fort Worth.

Take care. (And maybe put the top up) :)

I went out Friday night to a movie and dinner. It looked like it might rain so at the last minute I decided to take my company car. It raining hard during the movie and at dinner. I dropped off my date early and headed home. I needed to get up early because FredR was going to help me install adjustable Koni shocks on the Z. About 4 miles from my house the traffic on the freeway stopped. I figured it must have been a wreck. I turned off the CD player and turned on the news. The freeway was flooded! I couldn't move forward. Time is now 11:30PM. About 1:30AM I went for a walk in the rain (rain was falling about 1 or 2 inches an hour) the freeway was 15 feet underwater. (Sometimes the rain was falling at 4" a hour). My car was about 30 cars away from being underwater. I watched as the water rose up and covered up half of a '92 Honda Prelude in about 10 minutes (no one was inside). I went back to my car to wait. I slept for about 1 hour. But then got worried that the water that was quickly filling up the ditch would reach my car. Time: 3:30AM Weatherman says we are in for more rain, GREAT! My house is about 3 miles away, is it safe? is my Z3 safe? I am thinking that it must be flooded. To make a long story short I decide that maybe we can reverse back up the freeway and get out. I start getting people in the rear of the group to reverse back up the ramp, a few do it. Starts raining hard again and I find a few police officers that were heading to work. I suggest to them my idea, it takes them until 6:30AM to start the reverse action. I helped the cars to navigate between the 18 wheelers. All the 4 wheelers are out now. I jump in my car, it is now 7:30AM. I had to find another way home. It took me 1 hour to get home. Good news no water inside my house and no damage to my Z! The people that live across from me weren't so lucky. They had 4 feet inside. Check the pictures out.
