Can my 1.9 outrun a Mustang? (archive)

Today while I was driving home in bellevue, a black
Mustang Convertible was tail gating me, we stop in the
traffic light and I was little bit ahead on the starting
and pull away from him, then I hear his engine getting very
noisy and try to catch up. I need to let him win since I arrive home already.

My questions are:

1) it seems like his V6 Mustang convertible is not as fast
as I expected, what is Mustang's 0 - 60 time?

2) Why those morons who drives Covette and Mustang always
like to race with Z3? Because they think it is a sure win or
what? I am pretty pissed sometime when I realize my car doesn't have the HP to kick their ass. I am thinking to super charge my 1.9... will a 1.9 with supercharger
be able to beat the Mustang.. 325CI .. 330CI?
