If you are not familiar with this, it may look strange to you. However, it is VERY effective at getting MOST of the water off of the car quickly.

After I am done washing the car I 'squeegee' the water off with this water blade, then go back with simple 100% cotton towel (about handtowel size)to get the remaining water off. And there is not much remaining water. This tool is pretty remarkable, and will reduce your drying time...and those crummy spots.

After using the water blade for about a year, I noticed some rather deep vertical scratches along my fenders. The only thing I could think of was the blade. Now I don't know that they were caused by the blade, but since I've polished them out, and quit using the blade, they've yet to reappear.
Wish I could know for sure though, I really liked using the water blade, but not if it was the reason for my paint scratches.
