Update: My car has 37,000 miles and the steering wheel would move back and forth more than I liked. I felt the car was unstable on roads that were in poor repair. I wasn't happy with the ride or handling of the car. I put on the DINAN sway bars a couple weeks ago. It did improve handling a little but something was missing. So I ordered the Konis. Looking back on it, I believe the original shocks were going bad. I want to thank FredR, Doug, Eileen, and John for all there help. We finished last night around 9:30PM. I drove the 30 miles home at an easy pace. Since all four shocks were replaced I wanted to have a break in period. This morning I checked to make sure all the nuts were still tight. Two were loose but posed no danger. I think this was due to adding the weight back to the shocks and tires. I LOVE THESE SHOCKS! The car now feels like it rides on rails around corners. The last time I felt this kind of control was in a Boxster with sport suspension. Can't wait to take the car out for a hard drive, I will update you later.
Time to get back to work. I know its Sunday, but a report is due tomorrow.
Here is Richard and FredR installing the new rear shock. How do you get to be the guy lounging around in the back of the car Richard? :)
