Shortly after picking up my baby last year, I was driving home from work. It was dusk, but still enough light to see things okay. As I was driving, I saw a strange movement in my rear view mirror. I looked back to see what looked like a pedestrian lying on the ground at the rear of a car. Having some first aid experience, I spun around the block to make sure everyone was okay. When I got there, I found that it was a bicyclist who had sort of ridden into, and been backed into by, a car pulling out of a driveway. After making sure that she was okay, we helped her to her feet. When she stood up, and was able to see over the car that struck her, she got her first glimpse of my car. She sort of chuckled and said "that's ironic." When I asked what she was talking about, she explained that the reason the accident happened was that she was watching my car go by rather than where she was going. I apoligized to her, thanked her for the compliments about my car, and was on my way with a smile on my face!
