That topaz blue is a very pretty color. I was looking for one all over the houston for that color, but no one had the options that I wanted in that color. So, I got a sienna red w/ impala brown interior, and I think it looks just as good.

I can sympathize with you about the "justifying" thing. I was doing the same thing for about 6 months until I put the rational side of my brain to sleep and just went ahead and got. Now, after 2 months of owning my Z3, I still feel elated!

Sorry you couldn't take her with you on your vacation. That kinda sucks. But, I hope you enjoy many miles and smiles in your new zeee! Congrats!
