All that work and none of us even scrapped a knuckle. Not even Male Lesbo (Adi), although he probably would have had we let him have a beer.

Consumption Counts:
Band-Aids: 0
Beer: 0
Coke: 6
Pizza: 2
Shirts: 2 (Trashed them after we were finished)

Now if we could only lower my pickup!

No problem Zeegar, it is interesting to see how the two different design teams solved similar problems.

One interesting difference between the Miata and the Z3. Most bolts on the Miata are even numbered (10mm, 14mm, etc.) on the Z3 they are odd. Go figure.

Also, I would much rather do a suspension change on the Z long before I do another Miata. The Miata suspension is "better" but that also makes it more difficult to get the shocks and springs off.

The brakes are typical easy to replace disks. The brake wear sensor is cool and simple in its operation and installation, one very good little piece of engineering on BMW's part. It is an electrical connection encased in plastic that clips to a recess in the brake pad. When the pad wears down so does the plastic, when the pads are worn enough, the wire shorts out against the brake rotor and activates a warning light on the dash.
