front airbags become lower-powered, Dakar yellow and alpine wht colors become optional, and console has the slightest plastic frame piece added around the emergency hazard switch. I got this info from a post by Michael W on March 28, 2001. He listed the differences between 98,99,and 00. Great info- go into archives and get.
