The new one is better than the old one, but is it $15k better? That depends on how much $15k means to you.

Also, what's your driving style? My '00 ran 13.82 stock, I ran a M3 cab at ~13.5(not broken-in, should get faster with more miles), I estimate the MZ3 can do ~13.2 easily. Thus in real world driving, it's not THAT much of difference, we are talking about 6-8 car length from 0-100, if someone beats your '00 M, the '01 doesn't promise you a victory. On higher end it makes alot more difference, 100-150, the new one is in an different league.
